United States of America. Iowa. Muscatine Co. Cedar Bottoms Wildlife Management Area is approximately 5.5 mi W/NW of Muscatine. It is owned by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. A linear fen (0.5 acre or more in size) occurs on an east-facing slope below a sandy field and just above the floodplain of the Cedar River. The fen is on the Mississippi Alluvial Plain.
