    On dry, basaltic, sagebrush foothills. Small population. Red-brown soil, pH ca. 6.0.

  • Description

    Corollas blue- to red-violet, darker violet towards tube base, lobes blue, throat paler and with darker violet veins abaxially; staminode white; anthers dark violet, black with age; nectar with a sweet fragrance. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.
