Georeferencing Method
Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Unsure the precise location along the road which connects the airport to Serra Norte N-1 (PA-275) to georeference to; instead georeferenced to the approximate geographic center of the Carajás Airport in Parauapebas, Pará. Using Google Maps - Satellite View, located the Carajás Airport (Aeroporto de Carajás - Parauapebas). Used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to find the total extent of the airport, then halved this distance to approximate the location of the geographic center of the airport. Measured to approximately this distance from one extreme of the airport property toward the center; used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the approximate geographic center. Used the linear extent (distance from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of the airport property) as the uncertainty radius.
