Along trail in old secondary deciduous forest. Common along trail.

Description
Herb, 1.5 m tall. Secondary inflorescence rachises in a whorly, each secondary rachis arising from swollen light green areas at their attachment. The primary rachis slightly undulate. Glumes with two to three teeth at apex and with a short, delicate awn. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
