Description
Herb to 1.8-2.2 m. Leaf green above, grey-green below. Pulvinus thickened, olive-green. Petiole and sheath green. On older plants all leaves cauline, stem bare below. Bracts green or tinged purple on margins and apex. Sepals and corolla tube white, lobes purple. Outer staminode dark purple; callose staminode purple above, white below; cucullate staminode white, style white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
