Habitat
Shrubland on slopes, grazed, upper limit of arid woodlands (Harrisia tetracantha, Capparis speciosa], with Dodonaea viscosa. Rare here, seems to be at the uppere edge of the range,.

Description
Large shrub, 5 m. tall, 20 cm. in diameter at base, soon branched into dozens of upright stems. Flowers open [see herbarium label for extended description]. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile.
