Terrace ("tabuleiro") with some swampy areas, soils sandy. High density of slender-trunked trees but canopy discontinuous, few trees exceeding 15-20 m x 30 cm. Occasional.

fl. Hemi-epiphyte 8 m in tree, inflorescence erect, 1 m long, flowers white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
