Habitat
S aspect, ca. 2% slope, riparian zone of unnamed creek, west side of creek and north side of Trapper Creek Road; heavily disturbed area. Found with Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, Rosa woodsii, Aquilegia formosa, Artemisia tridentata. Common for area. Deep rocky soil derived from basalt.

Bush to 2.2 m. tall with yellow, red and dark red berries. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
