A.Gentry determined by: C. Logie: 2001 Perennial woody climber, 1-8 m long. Long petioles of 20-30 mm. Compound leaves, alternate, yellow-green but reddish in young leaves, elongated to oblong, 20-60x10-30 mm. Flowers trumpet-shaped, 50 mm long, 5-merous, apricot-coloured with yellow nectar-guide. Maroon bracts surround floral base. South Africa, Eastern Cape, Nelson Mandela Metro-park.. Woodridge School, in quadrangle opposite outdoor chess set. Cultivated garden.. On a ridge.
