    Tree 2.5 m tall, the trunk 3 cm diam; bark becoming rough at the base; short shoots almost, but not quite spiny; calyx green; hypanthium red; corolla over 2 cm diam, the petals pure white. This tree spontaneous; tree tagged with specimen number. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
