Description
Tree, to 5 m. x 25 cm. Tree, to 5 m. x 25 cm., more or less multiple-trunked; snake -skin papery bark shades of brown and grey, peeling in large patches to reveal creamish under-bark; Open branching; blusish green leaflets; reddish purple fleshy immature fruit-very few fruits set on tree. (Same tree as Lewis and Andrade 1876, in flower). large patches to reveal. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
