    Woodland with mix of spontaneous and planted species, including Carya cordiformis, Quercus rubra, Quercus phellos, Ulmus pumila, Prunus serotina, Pinus palustris, Crataegus spp., Rhodotypos scandens, Lindera benzoin and Wisteria.

  • Description

    Tree 8 m tall, the stem 14 cm diam; bark brown and grey, scaly; spines black, straight; fruit abundant, red. Probably planted, but apparently escaping as evidenced by Atha & Alvarez 14162. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
