Plant 2-8 mm high; branches alternate; cells 10-30 mic. broad, 1-3 times
as lon'g as the diameter, not constrictcd; plurilocular sporangia lapceo-
late, borne laterally on main stem or branches or rising from creep-
ing filaments, 75-90x16 35 mic.; unilocular sporangia globose or ovate,
*	15-35 mic. wide, single or 2-15 seriate, borne on a one to ¿hree-celled
stalk, mostly on the same filament with the plurilocular sporangia but
less common.
