Description
Herbaceous, 2-3 feet tall; leaves membraneous, dark geren above, silvery green below with elevated nerves, the midrib dull lavender at base; petiole green on margin, lavender striped; spikes erect, whitish, 3 mm. diam.; petiole 1.5 mm in diam. green with purplish stripes; stem dull purplish at nodes, 7-8 mm. in diameter. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
