  • Description

    Small tree climber; stem 1/2 to 3/4 in. thick, teret, branched; branches widely reaching, the ultimate rather sort twigs half drooping; wood tough, whitish, without odor or taste; bark smooth, brown mostly but with some gray blotches; leaves spreading, mostly descending, the petioles rigid and much thickened at the base; leaflets thinly coriaceous, flat or only the tips recurved, sublucid and a trifle darker green on the upper surface; inflorescence stalks whitish; petals filaments and pistils white; anthers pale yellow; flowers strongly and seewtly fragant. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
