    Montane forest. Mixed woods with Quercus rapurahuensis, Q. seemanii. On wood.

  • Description

    Gregarious. Pileus up to 15 cm broad, flabelliform to eccentrically stipitate, extremely tough, white with pale yellow overtones, some faint appressed fibrils overall on the pileus, yellow overtones especially apparent on the lamellae, with a veil on the stipe. Need to check descriptions from the literature to see if this matches. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
