Habitat
rock beach with many large boulders, most rocks are siliceous, small calcareous rocks rarely occur, cement foundations of old houses common, the beach is bordered by mature mixed-wood conifer dominated forests with Thuja occidentalis and Tsuga candensis. lignicolous on stump.
