Habitat
In shaded crevice. Vegetation low, mostly in shrub islands dominated by Bonnetia roraimae. Eroded sandstone mesa with deep crevices and large rock formations.

Description
Leaves lustrous silvery-green above; capitulum dark ash-grey. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
