  • Description

    Understory tree, 4-5 m tall; stems densely covered with whitish hairs; leaves elongated, upper side dark green with scattered hairs, lower side with short, mealy, cream colored cover; inflorescence large, hanging; flowers purple when young, turning neon-blue outside, with white inner side when maturing; anthers bluish white when young, dark reddish orange with purple base when ripe; stamens blue. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
