  • Georeferencing Method

Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. "Just east of" is not a distinct measurement. According to Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, proceed as for "Between two Places," finding the nearest named place in the eastern direction. Because of the difficulty in locating a named place east of Maroa (remote area), instead used coordinates for location 1 km east of Maroa (assuming 1 km is the maximum distance one could consider "just east of"). Coordinates borrowed from another georeferenced sites record of the same locality (1 km E of Maroa).
