Habitat
Forest on rising ground. Red soil over limestone.

Description
Erect palm, height 25 ft, d.b.h. 3 inches. Leaf-bases forming column, 18 inches. Leaves 6 ft long.Fruit on branching inflorescence, red when ripe. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
