Habitat
Sandstone rocks, intersected by small streams, with some disturbed areas by roadside.

Description
Erect herb from bulbous rootstock to 1 m. high with glaucous stems and leaves. Bracts green. Tepals outer bright yellow with dark spots at base. Inner tepals with brownish blotch surrounded by spots, otherwise yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
