Secondary forest with remnants of primary forest, on the left margin of the river. Caminho da casa de farinha.

Description
Treelet branched near the base, ca. 4-5 m tall, with slender, flexuous branches. Leaves chartaceous. Fruits yellow when ripe, with a medium layer of white cotton and black seed inbedded in a gelatinous pulp. Fruit edible, the inner pulp sweet.
