Guyana. Kako River vicinity, above Kako village, near Camp 3, ca. 22 air km east of Tulameng summit (summit 1534 m). Adjacent to savanna collected on July 1, but separated by a creek and scrub buffer.

Brocchina and Stegolepis savanna with drier shrub islands around rock outcrops.

Description
Erect herb. Leaves appressed against stem. Stem purple or green. Leaves green. Inflorescence terminal, paniculate. Calyx burgandy, corolla purple, stamens pink. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
