Scree slopes and flatlands of flarks and palsas, with scattered meadow and open woodland dominated by Salix and Alnus.

Description
Herb, low mound-forming, the mounds dark green to blackish; flowers bright pink or purple. This is one of the most common and abundant species in the area, growing in diverse habitats. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
