Habitat
Level forest on old high terrace, probably seasonally inundated. common and in all size classes. Rarely seen from the river from Riberalta and Puerto Heath.

Description
Stem 5 m. tall, 8 cm. in diameter, to twice as tall here; wood tan, soft. Crown with 14 leaves and 4 dead ones ready to fall, the stem clean; petiole (from base) 1.4 m. long. Leaf blade split to base only in the middle. No green inflorescences seen and ol.
