  • Habitat

    Rolling to hilly terrain on leached sandy and clay sediments. Deciduous woodland with some savanna species, "cerrado" vegetation, with Attalea phalerata [Scheelea princeps], Astronium, Anadenanthera macrocarpa, Dilodendron bipinnatum, Tabebuia aurea, T. roseo-alba, Curatella americana.

  • Description

    Shrub 4 m. tall. Neither flowers nor crushed foliage very odoriferous. Inflorescence pinkish; flowers not conspicuous, the corolla tube dark violet, the face very pale. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
