Location
Puerto Rico. N of Hwy 2 at Km marker 217, just east of town of Tallaboa, on slopes facing the sea.

Habitat
Scrub forest with many characteristic arid species, no trees or shrubs over ca. 2.5 m tall. Guettarda, Uniola virgata, Comocladia dodonaea, Thrinax morrisii, Turnera diffusa, Nashia, Pictetia aculeata, Antirhea acutata, Reynosia uncinata. Limestone substrate on slope.

Description
Low spiny shrub 1.5 m tall, branching near the base, branches long, slender, some straight, some arching; fruit white. Few plants of this species seen in this area. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
