Diameter of vegetative cells 15-20 mik., H-2^ times longer; diameter of
oogonia 37-42 mik. by 85 38 mik. Oogonia single or 2-4 seriate, some-
what depressed-globose, usually terminal, opening by an apical oper-
culum.

Mingled with sterile filaments of a larger Oedogonium. Attached to
sides of tank. Greenhouse.
