    gregarious. Castanopsis-dominated forest with scattered Dipterocarps, Lithocarpus.

  • Description

    Pileus: (8-) 16-33 mm, convex becoming nearly plane, depressed at disc, translucent-striate becoming plicate-sulcate, greyish brown with slight violaceous tint (~7D3) to pale orange-brown (6C4-6D4), hygrophanous, fading to very pale brownish white and becoming soft (subvelutinous?) in texture; margin decurved, occasionally becoming nearly straight. Context thin, white.Stipe: (25-) 41-56 x 2-5 mm, solid with thick cartilaginous rind, equal with somewhat enlarged base, occasionally subclavate, distinctly fibrous; fibrils pale henna red-brown (7E6) over a whitish ground. Context white to very pale orange-brown. Basal mycelium white.Hymenophore: Lamellae adnate to very short-decurrent, distant, slightly thickened, narrow, very pale pinkish gray (6B2-7B2) to pinkish orange (7C3).
