  • Description

    Pileus: 8-11 mm, convex, densely matted subtomentose, pileipellis breaking into minute fibrillose scales when mature; fibrils gray or light brown. Context extremely thin. Odor mild. Not enough material for tasting.Stipe: 0.25-0.75 x 10-15 mm, thin, terete, straight to sinuate, pinkish-brick red (11C5) with small fibrillose scales. Basal tomentum bright orange-yellow (3A5)Hymenophore: Poroid; pores round, 2 per mm, cream-colored becoming pinkish; tubes cream-colored; hymenophore depressed around stipe.Comments: compare to T. chromapes, T. queenslandianus, etc.
