  • Description

    Pileus: 5-12 mm, convex becoming plane, depressed at disc, translucent-striate, light brown (7D5-7D6), strongly hygrophanous, becoming pale orange-brown. Margin decurved, becoming lifted, splitting. Context white, very thin.Stipe: 16-26 x 0.75-1.5 mm, slightly enlarged at base, solid, fibrous; fibers usually straight, but occasionally twisted; very pale brown, nearly white. Basal mycelium white.Hymenophore: Lamellae adnate, slightly thickened, moderately broad, close to subdistant, grayish-orange (6B3-6B4). Edges entire; lamellulae present.Comments: Small brown, translucent-striate, with long slender stipe; contrast with Osmundson 1177, which has a much shorter stature.
