Description
Pileus 5-12 mm broad, convex with a low obscure umbo, dark gray becoming pale gray, sometimes white on disc, covered with fine, felty gray scales becoming finely areolate. Lamellae free, close, white, with even edges. Stipe 10-25 mm long 1-2 mm broad, equal, slightly broader at the base, white and silky striate-shiny above, white to grayish below, silky beneath an appressed finely and thinly felty superficial layer. Annulus thin, evanescent.
