Description
Pileus 3-5.5 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, appressed squamulose scaly, with dark gray brown squamules, with yellowish white between squamules, with a short sterile projecting margin. Flesh white, unchanging, with mild odor and taste. Tubes adnexed, pale yellow at first, then greenish yellow, unchanging. Stipe 4-7 cm long, 7-9 mm broad, equal to slightly broader below to nearly subclavate, strict or curved, dry, scabrous with fine dark brown scabers when you becoming pale gray scabers on whitish ground color, with pale yellow tints at base becoming pale brownish from handling, with interior white, solid, unchanging.
