Description
Leaves slick, paler gren beneath, recurved on the lower side, very thick, easily breaking; midvein red as are the short ascending petioles; infrutescence 6 inches long, an elongated panicle up to 6 inches long, very slender, drooping peduncle arising from the apex of the branches; berries red, ultimately soft and dark brown ofr nearly black. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
