Erigeron utahensis Gray var. utahensis

EMERY CO, Sandy bank at the edge of Goblin Valley, north
of Hanksville. Twp. 26 S., R. 11 E., S. 10. Elevation
about 5000 feet. Rays about 3k, bright blue-lavender.
Stems clustered on a taproot and branching caudex, these
specimens from a single large plant nearly 1 m. across.
