Description
Sprawling and vining; stem purplish-maroon; petioles purplish-wine red; leaves rugose, thick, fleshy-membranous, dark green and sulcate-nerved above, pale green below with raised nerves; peduncle rose-red; bracts salmon-pink and buff, dentate, 2.8 cm. wide, 2.4 cm. long; corolla yellow with recurved lobes; corolla tube 12 mm. wide, 42 mm. long; corolla lobes 5 mm. wide, 7 mm. long; ovary pale green; young fruit greenish white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
