SAN JUAN COUNTY. OfFFSR 88, at the Notch, along
Notch Trail into the east end of Dark Canyon, ca 1/2 mile
below trailhead, in vicinity of T35S R20E extreme lower
part of SW1/4 Section 7, 37° 46.472’ N, 109° 46.357’
W, 8150 feet, 2475 meters.

Moist soil of slope, with Pseudotsuga menziesii, Yucca
angustissima, Penstemon eatoni, P. navajoa, Erigeron
kachinensis, Pinus ponderosa, Heuchera parvifolia
utahensis, Sedum lanceolatum, Symphoricarpos
oreophilus, Juniperus communis, Berberis repens, Acer
negundo, A. grandidentatum, Populus tremuloides,
Smilacina stellata, Viola adunca, Mertensia
franciscana, Clematis columbiana, Lithospermum
multiflorum, Cryptantha Jlavoculata, Ipomopsis
aggregata, Holodiscus dumosus, Quercus gambelii,
Castilleja linariifolia, Lupinus argenteus palmeri,
Balsamorhiza sagittata. Locally common rhizomatous
herbaceous perennial, rays white..
