JUNEAU ICEFIELD: Just southwest and up from
survey point Sue (across Ptarmigan Glacier
from Camp 17, FGER) on a steep, stony meadow
at mid-slope with elevation about 4,000'.
Aspect east-southeast. Pm schistose. Com-
mon, with Poa alpina, P. apotioa, Festuca
brachyphylla, Trisetum spioatum3 and Artemi-
sia arctica. Plants not significantly mat-
forming. Heads with white-violet rays and
reddish-yellow discs.
