COCONINO COUNTY. Grand Canyon, Grand Canyon
National Park, Tapeats Creek, ca 1/5 mile just east of
Thunder River, 112° 27’50” W, 36° 23’49” N, 2800 feet,
853 meters.

Growing in shady, mesic site just above creek, with
Populus, Tamarix, Artemesia, Nolina aff. microcarpa,
Acacia greggii. Locally common weak-stemmed annual
(biennial?), rays light lavender-blue.
