Very open, logged, ponderosa pine woods, siliceous
rocky soil, with Arctostaphylos uva-ursi, Allium cernuum,
Polygonum douglassii, Verbascum thapsus, Sitanion, Chrysopsis
Antennaria, Campanula rotundifolia.

Rays very pale lavender.
