Henry Mountains ca. 4.50 km WNW of the summit (7998) of
Mount Holmes. T34S, R12E, Sec. 31. Lat.: 37°48'26"N Long •
110»37'58"W (WGS84 Datum). Elev. 5250 ft.

In rocky soil on E-facing slope with Coleoqvne. Ephedra. Artemisia
& Atriplex. Herbage with coarse multicellular trichomes to 1.3 mm
long; phyllaries subequal, 1-nerved; disc corollas puberulent with
sharp-pointed hairs; pistillate florets 50-70, with white (at anthesis)
iigules to 1 mm wide; pappus bisenate with short scales and an
inner series of 6-9 barbellate bristles; cypselae 2-nerved.
