120. (Benton Hot Sprs. quad: 37° 51.432'N, 118° 36.805'W;
T1S R30E S13, NE/4 of SE/4). Alt.: 2085m/6840ft.

Dry grazed sagebrush scrub disscected by dry gully. Pinus
monophylla woodland on granitic ridge upslope E. Mixed
decomposed granite and pumice alluvium soil. With Artemisia
tridentata, Grayia spinosa, Ephedra viridis, Phlox stansburyi,
Eriogonum umbellatum, Achnatherum hymenoides, Phacelia
bicolor, Cryptantha circumscissa.

Occasional from bases of granitic rocks, E-facing slopes. Rays violet-lavendar.
