GLASS MOUNTAIN REGION: North Slope of Glass Mtn. peak;
near center base of avalanche chute. (Glass Mtn. quad: 37°
46.783'N, 118° 42.517'W; T2S R30E S18, NW/4 of NE/4). Alt.:
3110m/10200ft.

25° NNE-facing avalanche chute of coarse white rhyolite cobbles,
pumice gravel and scattered obsidian. Depauperate dry sparse
vegetation of Pinus albicaulis, Leptodactylon pungens,

Monardella odoratissima, Arabis platysperma, Eriogonum
umbellatum, E. lobbii, Ericameria suffruticosa, Elymus
elymoides.

Widely scattered subshrub. Rays 1-2.
