LA PAZ COUNTY. Cactus Plain, southeast
lower slope of Black Peak, T9N R19W Section
13, SW1/4, 900 feet.

Vocanic basalt, tuff, and sandstone, southeast-
facing 10-20° rocky slope, with Larrea trident-
ata, Camissonia brevipes, Plantago insularis,
Lupinus arizonicus, Cryptantha, Chorizanthe
brevicornu, Encelia farinosa, Monoptilon bellioi-
des, Phacelia, Camissonia arenaria, Opuntia
basilaris, Ambrosia dumosa, Eucnide urens.

Local, with typical variety, disk florets brown-
-purple.
