  • Description

    Pileus 8-31 mm, convex, pulverulent, bright yellow (2A7-3A7) with reddish tint. Context white, staining blue. Odor and taste mild. Pores round to slightly elongated, 2 per mm, pale yellow (3A3) with slight olivaceous tint, bruising reddish. Stipe 17-38 x 3-7 mm, equal to basally tapered, solid, pale yellow with red zone near apex. Entire basidiome covered with bright yellow (2A7-3A7) that remains on stipe and sometimes on pileus surface, leaving a peronate annulus on the stipe, breaking into pulverulent scales in places.
