Description
Pileus (11-) 15-42 (-52) mm, convex becoming plane, margin involute becoming decurved to uplifted; densely matted subtomentose; dark brown tomentum breaks into patches as pileus ages and expands, having the appearance of minute fibrillose scales against a light yellowish-brown ground. Context pale yellow. Lamellae decurrent, broad, thin, close, bright yellow. Stipe (16-) 21-30 x (2-) 5-11 mm, solid, equal, fibrous, light brown. Basal mycelium.
