Description
Pileus 32-72 mm, convex, densely matted subtomentose, orange-brown to dark brown (6E6-6E7-6F7); margin involute becoming decurved. Context white, staining pale red; taste mild. Hymenophore poroid; pores minute, round, light brown to rusty brown; tubes white. Stipe 33-65 x 12-22 mm, solid, subclavate, reticulate; apex white when young, becoming pale yellow or brownish orange; reticulum dark brown; base concolorous with pileus.
