    Short perennial reach about 200 m long; dominant trees are willow and ash; scattered cottonwood; river is lush with graminoid and other herbaceous vegetation; leopard frogs are out. Salix gooddingii, Fraxinus velutina, Populus fremontii, Cephalanthus occidentalis, Lythrum californicum, Platanus wrightii, Celtis reticulata, Melilotus alba, Xanthium strumarium, Cynodon dactylon, Stemodia durantifolia, Eragrostis cilianensis, Panicum capillare, Cyperus odoratus, Calibrachoa parviflora, Polanisia dodecandra, Sorghum halepense, Juncus spp., Equisetum, Polygonum lapathifolium, Typha, Schoenoplectus, Polypogon monspeliensis.
