  • Description

    Pileus 7-18 (-25) mm, hemispheric becoming convex to nearly plane, translucent-striate, disc usually flattened or depressed, brick red (7D7) to reddish brown (7E7); margin decurved becoming uplifted, splitting in age.Lamellae adnate to slightly notched, subdistant, thickish, moderately broad, pinkish-orange (7A3) becoming grayish orange (7C4); edges entire; lamellulae present. Stipe 26-39 x 1.5-3 mm, stuffed becoming hollow, equal, slightly enlarged at base; fibrous, fibers straight; concolorous with pileus; basal mycelium white.
